Well, I’ve been in my element today doing one of my favorite things, block printing.
I bought a vintage linen table cloth a few weeks ago with the idea of printing on it. Already a super colour red, it has been constantly calling me. I had been turning round in my mind what block to use and a poppy head block came to my mind a few days ago. So today was the day!
Unfortunately I couldn’t get a photo to show the exact colour, but the actual cloth is a true super red.
Although I chose to do a random print, it is still tricky to keep them evenly spaced out.
I am very pleased with the end result and it is now for sale for £60. I’m very temped to keep it myself because red is my favorite colour, but that is not good for my earnings! 🙂
