Card Stands in the Making

I started a new project recently as I’ve been having a constant battle in how to display some of my work at my makers markets. I have been making stands and generally trying to improve the presentation of my stall. Ultimately to try and improve sales!

I’ve had some apple trays for a while, knowing they would come in useful sometime and now they have! I saw something when I was out the other day and just motivated me to see what I could do.

I estimated what other bits of wood I might need which only cost about £10 and I got on with it.display-1 Measuring, sawing and painting:-)display-2 display-3Yes I’m impressed too!display-4I’ll take a photo of my stall on Saturday to show the stands all finished 🙂

Nativity

I have had the pleasure to be asked to do a drawing of the nativity to go on the front of the December issue of our church magazine. I am always nervous when I get specific commission especially because of the subject, I didn’t want it to turn out too sweet. I am actually pleased with the result and have used the image for a Christmas card.nativity-1 nativity-2 nativity-card-4nativity-card-1You can buy the cards from my Etsy Shop! 🙂

Dragonfly Print Cards

I just made these super dragonfly print cards and wanted to share them with you.dragonflyI had made the blue background on my Gelli plate and decided to block print on top of it with the same dragonfly block I already used and while the ink was still wet added a little sprinkle of glitter! Cut to size and mounted on recycled board with a little addition with my John Bull printing set and they’re good to go!  🙂
