‘Acrylic on canvas – green stripe’. I’m very pleased with this one 🙂 This is painted on top of one of my old paintings, therefore recycling the canvas and saving money!
I’m happy with this, I like the green primer!
Painting on up-cycled packaging, all finished after lots of layers!
My husband recently ordered a white board and when it arrived I eagerly claimed the packaging. A large, reinforced piece of corrugated cardboard was going to be my next challenge! First lots of primer!
A layer of pale grey as well to get me started and then my automatic drawing!
A good start but I know I knew a good few layers of paint would be needed to compensate for the texture of the cardboard.
I like it but yet more layers are needed 🙂
‘Suspension’ (acrylic on canvas) is another painting I did recently which I’ve sold and has just had picked up to go to it’s new home! So pleased that it’s going to be enjoyed by such a lovely person! 🙂
As Many of you know I had an open studio at the weekend to preview the painting I did over the summer. He’s a sneaky peak, just in case you missed it. A big thank you to everyone who came and to those who bought work, enjoy you paintings 🙂 I had a great time x
The next painting I would like to show you is ‘Playing with time’ – acrylic and collage on board. This one took quite a while. Some times as an artist you can get to a point where a piece of art looks finished but you know it’s not complete. It was some time before I was able to put the final touches to this but I am pleased with the result of my patience 🙂
