I’ve been making my main piece for Turn The Page artists book fair and I’m very excited about it. It is based on my last paintingNow you’ll have to either come to Turn The Page at the Forum in Norwich or wait till I blog about it! 🙂
I’m super pleased with my display in the Norwich Gift Emporium which I set up yesterday. I’m really happy to take advantage of this opportunity in the run up to Christmas.
It’s in a prime position in the city, so lots of opportunity for me to spend money too! I’ll let you know how I get on 🙂
A lovely walk we’ve had in the woods this afternoon reminded me that I had been thinking of doing some printing with leaves. I had seen some inspirational work in a couple magazines recently so it made me want to have a go myself. So on our walk this afternoon I picked up some leaves that had dropped on the floor with a view to having a go.
A sneak peak of our walk
If you want to see a few more photos pop over to my other blog. In the mean time here are my leaves I collected.
They are a pressing now between tissue to prepare them, but I want to try printing with them now!
Fridays we treat as our day off and often try and go out for the day. Today we went up to Norwich to see an exhibition at the stew gallery by the artist Geoffrey Lefever His work is well worth going to see. The exhibition is on till Tuesday (closed Sunday) so hurry and get along before its too late!
I love to see work that obvoiusly comes from the heart. The pieces are worth seeing in real life, they have much more impact and he has porfolios of sketch book work that is worth seeing.
