I’ve been making my main piece for Turn The Page artists book fair and I’m very excited about it. It is based on my last paintingNow you’ll have to either come to Turn The Page at the Forum in Norwich or wait till I blog about it! 🙂
As you can see, this particular painting is painted in a very different style to my other work. I had a specific idea in my head that I wanted to produce a Christmas icon. The image was in my head that I wanted so I just went with the flow!! I also painted it on unprimed canvas, which was lovely and I think added to the look of the finished piece.
I will be selling Christmas cards portraying this image this coming Saturday 9th December (2017) at Fakenham Makers Market.
As Many of you know I had an open studio at the weekend to preview the painting I did over the summer. He’s a sneaky peak, just in case you missed it. A big thank you to everyone who came and to those who bought work, enjoy you paintings 🙂 I had a great time x
As my regular followers know, I’ve been doing some intuitive panting workshops for relaxation and mindfulness. These are to give an opportunity to escape the rat race of life and focus on the pleasures of intuitive painting. Here are some photos of the latest workshop to show what’s been done. My next workshop is on Saturday 10th November 10 am – 12 noon.
It was my first workshop today and it went very well. The purpose purely to switch off from our every day responsibilities and enjoy a time to paint! I’m looking forward to the next one which is on 7th October. 🙂
I didn’t get short listed for the art prize I entered so I thought it called for me to paint something pink! 🙂
These two pieces of work I am very pleased with I have enter for the art prize at The Holt Festival. I’m quite excited, confident and nervous about it, but what ever happens I’m happy with my work. 🙂
