I really enjoyed curating my work for my summer exhibition at my studio and seeing it hung on the wall. Thanks to those who came and supported me it was great to see you 🙂 Below are some photos I took of my work over the weekend.
We went all the way to Halifax for my second sculpture workshop. It was at the art centre in the beautiful place below, The Piece Hall. This is my first piece of casting. I had to weave something and include it in the sculpture, this was because of the history of the place we were working in.I have ticked both of my pieces below, which I bought home to work on further. It was a long way to go, but we called in on the Hepworth Wakefield on the way home, which added to our enjoyment of the weekend. 🙂
I know this is a bit belated, but here is some snaps from the private view of ’36 Works’ at Galley Iceni, Swaffham.
Thanks for taking a look! 🙂
Wow, I didn’t realize how long it is since I last wrote a post! I’ve been getting ready for my exhibition which I have happening during September. I would be delighted if you could come along. If you are in the area and would like to come to the private view you are most welcome! 🙂
Here is my main piece for Turn The Page artists book Fair. It was inspired by my painting I have now called ’32 Triangles’.
A limited edition of 32 Tulip fold books, each containing a miniature signed print of the original painting. (12 displayed at one time)
In the humidity of the exhibition the books opened slightly and showed their content.
A wonderful time was had by all at the exhibition which was held in the Forum, Norwich.
