Indian Wooden Print Blocks

Well, my bargain for the month are these lovely wooden print blocks, bought at a very good price on a well known auction site, very pleased with my purchase!

I want to use these along side my own blocks, I think the combination is good.

Turn the page

On our day off yesterday we went to Norwich and visited the the ‘Turn the Page‘ artists book fair. It was really good and very inspiring and there was lot’s I liked and wanted to buy.  I ended up buying these two journal type books by Theresa Easton. I absolutely love her work and remember seeing her last year..

I think I would like to add to them with precious things, small pieces of art etc.

One to one workshop

Had my first one to one workshop with my new client Chris today. We did some mono-printing and did some great images. Some are still to be finished but this lovely double sided greeting card was completed for him to take home.

New Print Blocks

I’m getting a bit addicted to block printing now I’ve started to do some again and I’ve been looking out for some blocks to buy.  These are what I bought a few days ago.

The trouble is, I think I’ve started something now!

New face on the block!

I’m planning on exploring faces a bit more in print, so here is block print  face No. 2.
