Work experience week 1

Had a very busy week last week with my first work experience student of two. We did an awful lot for one week and I think we both enjoyed it.

These pictures show some of what we achieved.

More work to do on them, but a good start!

Castle Acre Festive Fair

Mail Art

Started developing my Christmas mail art last night. A combination of screen print, stickers, fine liners, sharpies and a little bit of glitter.

Didn’t want to go to bed, I wanted to carry on colouring stars!:-)

Christmas Open Studio

Printing Seasonal Leaves

Here are my finished leaf stencils which I have designed for my christmassy products.

My first step then is start building the surface of the paper with printing the basic leaf shape and some leaf cut outs.

Now for the over printing of the main stencil.

I’ve also added a bit of seasonal glitter to the wet ink. All this using my reused packaging paper!
